How Seven Centers Came to Be:

Martha Hopewell, the Founder of Seven Centers Leadership Consulting, chose the name when she undertook her first international consulting assignment in southeast Asia with The Pearl S. Buck Foundation in 1997. Seven Centers represents the seven continents, and our team’s lifelong commitment to “thinking globally” while “acting locally.”

Seven Centers also represents the seven energy centers of the human body – called chakras in the ancient yogic traditions of India – and our team’s equally lifelong commitment to spiritual growth and personal wholeness. Through our coaching and consulting services, we strive to enhance the focus, vitality, and healthy life balance of progressive leaders as they pursue their vision and work. The Seven Centers logo captures this concept of a vibrant and balanced center of compassionate energy that brings healing to oneself, one’s family and community, and the world.
