Your strategic/business plan is your mission game plan. Without it, your organization can't play an intrepid game.

We invite you to take your plan off the shelf - especially if it's been 3 or 5 years - and work with us to transform it into the most valuable working document you will utilize to guide your organization's future.

In the SMART! Plan Program, we facilitate a strategic planning team of key stakeholders in your organization to engage in a three-to-six month process that generally includes: 

  • Assessing your internal and external environments
  • Revitalizing your organizational vision, mission, and organizational values
  • Creating a profile of your organizationin 3 to 5 years
  • Identifying and prioritizing 3 to 5 year strategic goals and objectives
  • Developing an implementation (tactical) plan
  • Developing a resource mobilization plan (finances, personnel, etc.)
  • Establishing monitoring and evaluation indicators
Our deliverables are a creative and rigorous process that builds community, and a solid and actionable plan.

Seven Centers SMART! Boardâ„¢ Program

A special team with a unique role to play is the non-profit board of directors. Board membership is an important form of civic participation in our communities. Commitment to their organization's mission is foremost. It is equally important that each board member fully understands and expedites the duties expected of membership. This is critical to the health and stability of a non-profit mission.

Many boards, despite their enthusiasm and good intentions, lack the knowledge and skill to be effective catalysts for their non-profit mission.

The SMART! Non-Profit Leadership Program is a six to twelve month engagement aimed at building the leadership capacity of your board. Based on an assessment of your organization’s leadership needs, we develop a custom program that may address any or all of the following board duties:

  • Facilitating the review and, if necessary, the revision of your organization’s By-Laws
  • Establishing your organization's mission and setting strategic direction
